Would you like to charter a tall ship?


1.    How many people can the ship accommodate?
STS Kapitan Borchardt can accommodate 32 guests in three - and four-bed cabins of a higher standard, equipped with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.
At request we can accommodate two guests per cabin – such configuration allows the ship to take 20 guests.
For day sailing events, without overnight stay, the ship can accommodate up to 50 guests.


2.    What events you can organise on board?
We are open to any suggestions, we have extensive experience in organising various events.


3.    Can I get help buying plane / bus tickets?
Yes, our office offers such assistance. We charge 50 zł of purchased ticket.


4.    What is included in the basic price of a charter?
The basic charter price includes accommodation, full board, unlimited soft drinks, professional service of the ship, basic sailing training, port fees, the costs of operating the ship, basic insurance.


5.    Do guests need sailing experience or licences to participate in events on the ship?
No, sailing licences and experience are not required – we welcome aboard all, especially guests who are just getting started with sailing.

2.    What documents should I bring to a cruise?
We recommend taking identity card and passport, as during a cruise one of the documents must remain in deposit on the ship.


3.    Is sailing during night time planned?
Yes, we sail at night. The extent of night sailing is dependent on weather conditions and route of the cruise.


4.    How are the cabins allocated?
Decisions about the cabin allocation are made by captain.
During the registration process it is possible to book a whole cabin for an additional fee.


5.    Can I borrow oilskins on board?
There is no possibility to borrow oilskins on board. We invite you to read "before the cruise" section - there is a list of things to take for a cruise.


6.    Are transfers from airport or bus / train station provided?
No, transfers to the embarkation and disembarkation ports should be arranger by participants of a cruise.


7.    Does the cruise count towards experience for sailing licenses?
Yes, after each cruise captain presents participants with certificates and enters sail training hours to seaman's book, if a participant has one.


8.    What is the lower / upper age limit of participants?
We welcome on board children from the age of 13 with the consent of guardians. The upper age limit is determined by physical abilities of a person.


9.    Can I get help buying plane / bus tickets?
Yes, our office offers such assistance. We charge 50 zł of purchased ticket.
